Arenal
This design was aptly named after the first area we visited - The Arenal Volcano.

The Terrazzo pattern and color palette was inspired by The Amor Arenal Hotel, as well as Costa Rica's regional flowers.

Although green is my favorite color, I refrained from incorporating green hues this time, as these earrings were designed to pop against a lush green backdrop.

Playa Conchal
After staying in the heart of the jungle, Manny and I were transferred to Playa Conchal, Guanacaste.

The second half of our trip we spent sipping cocktails while sun bathing, paired with snorkeling and sight-seeing!

I chose to use the fish print as a nod to our snorkeling excursion, and added a shiny, satin topcoat to the clay to more closely resemble seashells.
Brasilito Bay
Named after the nearby fishing town of Brasilitio, the colors were inspired by the beautiful deep blue hues of Brasilito Bay as well as its white, sandy beaches.

Fer De Lance
It turns out the "Fer De Lance" is the most common (and most dangerous) snake in all of Costa Rica.
I thought it was fitting to name these snake drop earrings accordingly... although, Manny is beyond glad we never ended up running into one.
